Devon Wright Taravella
Wright is the most college-ready back of them all. He has the size (6-1, 190 pounds), strength and speed (4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash). He also plays in an offense that shows off his skills. Wright has five scholarship offers from Minnesota, Connecticut, FIU, Boston College and Troy. The list will grow as he continues to put up massive numbers.
Brandon Gainer Miami Central
There is an array of talented running back prospects. Miami Central’s Brandon Gainer is one of those top running back prospects. Gainer has good vision and changes directions fairly well for someone of his size. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Gainer claims offers from Auburn and FIU.
Jakhari Gore Miami Christopher Columbus Jakhari Gore has been one of the biggest names in south Florida ever since his freshman season, not because Gore is the cousin of current San Francisco 49er and former Miami Hurricane Frank Gore, but because he has been one of the area's most productive backs over that time period. Already boasting over 3,000 rushing yards, Gore continues to get better as he embarks on a long career after playing for Columbus.
James White St. Thomas Aquinas St. Thomas Aquinas has many weapons on their team - on both sides of the ball. One of their biggest threats is running back James White. College choices include Purdue, USF and Clemson to name a few.
