Where Champions Play all Season Long! |
Player Profile
Henry Orelus, Glades Central |
6,3", 292 lbs.
Because Orelus is very in tune with his body
and physical ability, he makes for a very smart
athlete. Orelus is extremely competitive and is
determined to be the best. Even though Orelus
mostly plays lineman, he can also switch to
offensive guard if need be, making him a double
threat. He is the 4th best prospect in Palm Beach
County. He will be a key lineman at Florida State.
Schools that caught his eye: Florida State (solid verbal),
Miami, South Florida, Tennessee, Auburn. |
Lonnie Pryor, Palm Beach Central |
 6,0", 195 lbs.
Pryor has amazing talent. This was shown
last season when Pryor carried the ball for
a total of 1,724 yards with 20 touchdowns.
He is one of the top running backs in the
Sunshine state. Pryor’s incredible speed
combined with his knowledge of the game
makes him an extremely talented player.
Nothing can limit this athlete. He has a great
build for a running back that has the ability
to be expanded. Because of his frame and
ability to cut quickly, he is able to slip by
defense effortlessly. Schools that caught his eye: Florida State (solid verbal), Georgia,
Auburn and Clemson.
|
Torrance Moise, Booker T Washington |
5' 8", 170 lbs.
This senior is shining this 2008 football season.
Last year, in the championship game he threw
275 passing yards. He also helped lead Booker
T Washington to Florida’s 4A state title as well
last year. As a main player this season, he has high
expectations not only from coaches and his teammates,
but from himself as well. This season, Moise
really needs to step it up and be a leader of Booker T’s
team. Even though he suffered an ankle injury early
this season, that is not going to let that stop him. His
continued love of the game and determination is what
makes Moise a great quarterback.
Schools that caught his eye: Florida,
Florida State, and Miami. |
Brandon Oliver, Miami South Ridge |
5' 7", 180 lbs.
You wouldn’t think such a young player
would be so unstoppable. Oliver proves
this wrong. Being only a junior this year,
Oliver shows remarkable talent. He has
explosive speed and had the third fastest
shuttle time recorded by the National
Underclassmen Combine. Oliver is said to
be one the top running backs in the
Miami-Dade County. If he has this much
talent already as a junior, the possibilities could be endless for Oliver’s future in football. |
Kenny Whittaker, Columbus |
 5' 10", 164 lbs.
With Whittaker’s speed and smarts of the game,
he is definitely a player you want on your side.
He is able to catch any ball thrown his way, no
matter what type of traffic it is. A transfer from
Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna program,
Whittaker has made a name for himself in many
places across the Sunshine state. Last season, he
had 41 receptions with a grand total of 955 yards.
This kid has so much talent, and you should be
watching him closely during this 2008 season.
Schools that caught his eye: South Florida, Florida
Atlantic U, Central Florida. |
Brandon Taylor, Dr. Krop |
 6' 0", 290 lbs.
Son of NFL Hall of Fame All Star, Lawrence
Taylor, Brandon Taylor is definitely on his
way to following in his dad’s footsteps. Being
a senior in the 2008 season, this rising star is
already making a name for himself. Taylor’s
strength and confidence with his game, either
makes him your worst enemy or your greatest
asset. Even though he lacks a little in height,
his build makes up for it. Being a very physical
player, Taylor is able to push back his opponent
easily. This 2008 season should be Taylor’s biggest
best one yet! We look forward to seeing more
of this brilliant young star.
Schools that caught his eye: Connecticut, Miami,
North Carolina, and Purdue. |
Frank Crawford, Gulliver Prep |
 6'1", 160 lbs.
Crawford is one of the top safeties in the whole state of Florida being recruited by numerous schools. With more than 18 offers, it is obvious schools are dying to get this talented athlete to come play for them. Last year, as a junior, Crawford confirmed six interceptions with two of them going the distance. He also had 55 tackles. The ability to play receiver, corner back, and safety makes Crawford a lethal weapon that schools obviously need. His ability to time interceptions well and his vertical make for a great combination for his position. Crawford is an intense competitor that will make his mark this season and wherever he chooses to play at the next level.
Schools that caught his eye: Alabama, Minnesota, Florida State, South Carolina, West Virginia. |
Frankie Telfort, Gulliver High School |
5'11", 197 lbs., Linebacker
This tough player is a top prospect. He may not be one of the biggest guys on the field, but he has amazing speed. He has very strong plays and shows his athleticism. He is a very hard working player; he takes his role very seriously. Last week at the Archbishop McCarthy game, Telfort led the team. They won 45 - 14. Telfort has six schools to choose from. He is looking into Florida, Notre Dame, Ohio State, USC, Stanford, and Tennessee. |
Shane Gordon, Chaminade Madonna Prep School |
5'11", 224 lbs, Linebacker
During his freshmen season, he had an amazing 17 tackles. The past two seasons he has had 140 tackles and 20 quarterback sacks. His team played in the state championships last season. This season Chaminade Prep has not had a good start, but there is room for improvement. Gordon is looking at many colleges such as, Auburn, Mississippi, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Syracuse and FIU.

| Jason Douglas, Cypress Bay |
5'8" 170,
Running back
Don’t be fooled by his size. Although you would think his size would be a disadvantage, this talented running back from Cypress Bay is able to surpass his adversaries with, what it seems, little effort. His speed is unbelievable. Last week, he had 18 carries that led to 3 touchdowns, helping Cypress Bay barely pass the Boyd Anderson for the win 29-27. Douglas is a very productive, hard working running back. He had great vision and center of balance, which together, helps him to squeeze thru gaps in the defense. Once Douglas has the ball, expect the other team to be very afraid! His lightning speed will help Cypress Bay gain an amazing amount of yards. Last year, his total yards were 1222 yards with 14 touchdowns. Schools that caught his eye: Pittsburgh, Boston, West Virginia, Kansas State, FI, and Central Michigan.
