Starting his football career as a receiver, Smith quickly made his way to the center of the action as quarterback. Ryan Becker
St. Thomas Aquinas - 6' 0", 185 lbs.
A top quarterback pick for many schools. Becker helped lead his team to the state championship last year with 1,722 passing yards and 26 touchdowns. Even though some are lead to believe his height limits his ability, anything this athlete does: run, throw, etc., he does with accuracy and confidence. Brandon McGee
Plantation - 6' 1", 180 lbs.
Moving positions from receiver to quarterback, this gifted senior will be one to keep your eye on. With the intense training he has been doing all summer, McGee will be ready to shine and crush his last season record of 987 years and 10 touchdowns. Currently, he is verbally committed to Miami as a cornerback, which was the decision of McGee, family, and his coaches. One of his big game’s to watch will be Sept. 19 vs. Miramar.

Nico Flores
North Miami Beach,
6' 2", 195 lbs., SR
With a year under his belt, Flores is back to conquer. He will definitely be leading his team for another chance at the 6A state title. Even though Flores also plays defensive back, his main role will be in the middle of the action. At the end of last season, his stats were at a total of 1,700 yards and 20 touchdowns. With reliable receivers to count on, we will definitely see a great this young, but experience quarterback.

Denard Robinson

6' 0", 180 lbs.
Two star athletes in one! Gifted both in track and football, Robinson will help lead his team this season to victory. His impressive passing stats of 1,961 yards helped the Bucks reach semifinals last season. With an offer from Florida is his hand, hopefully Robinson will surpass last season’s successful track and continue his striking career as quarterback.

Even though Hargrett lacks height for his position, his thick, athletic frame makes up for it. His explosive acceleration makes him a very important and key tool for Northwestern. His low center of gravity allows him to cut quickly through lines. There is no doubt that he will make his mark this season.

Jones is a team player that has a lot to contribute this season. He has made a great impact on the Bulls so far with rushing over 600 yards last season.

As a junior, Vernon had 38 caught
receptions, totaling 638 yards. He
also had 5 touchdowns. Even though
his frame is a little on the small side,
Vernon is very good getting the job done.
Combing his ability to get open quickly
and his soft hands, makes him an asset
to his team. Vernon needs to make his
mark this 2008 senior season. Flying a
little under the radar, this season will
definitely be the one to make him shine!

Stedman Bailey
Miramar - 5'11", 186 lbs.
Bailey is one of the top recruits for wide
receivers in the state of Florida this 2008
season. Showing flexibility in his catches,
Bailey was made for this game. He catches
everything and anything! His quickness
and ability to run routes very well makes
him an asset to the team and an interesting
game to watch. Bailey has very good
awareness of his surroundings and is able

Rodney Smith
Archbishop Carroll - 6'6", 202 lbs.
Combining Smith’s size with his soft hands
makes him an excellent, and lethal player.
He is able to catch any ball thrown towards
his direction. Because of his strength and
adaptability, Smith is able to secure the ball in any amount of traffic. Even though he does
not have explosive speed, Smith gains a lot
of that speed back from his long strides, which
makes him a great weapon to have when he is
running with the ball.

a great 2008 season, and a successful college

Son of NFL star, Lawrence Taylor, this strong athlete

David Gilbert
Oakland Park -
6'4", 214 lbs.
Gilbert is ranked three star defensive end.He plans to
graduate early in December. He is considering
Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and Central Florida. He feels that he
Fits in with the Central Florida team and plans to make a final
Visit to the campus in October. |
Kedric Johnson
Palmetto -
6'4", 225 lbs.
It looks like Auburn will be the top choice for this star
athlete. He is an excellent blocker and tackler. He is able

other offensive lineman in the sunshine state.

Only a junior, Linder has already been offered
many scholarships. His talent combined with
confidence makes him a great overall player.
Linder will get more practice in this season, and
we will be sure to see a phenomenal senior
